I watched 'WANTED' (Netflix). A passably decent Action/Adventure film (if you disengage most of your critical faculties) with lots of CGI and 'boom-boom'. One thousand years ago a guild of weavers formed an Assassin Fraternity and one of the members' sons (in contemporary Chicago) is approached to join this righteous brotherhood of killers. It sounds dumber than it actually was, but close; with Angelina Jolie, James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, and Terence Stamp.

***About 9am a truck dropped a large dumpster container in the driveway of the abandoned house next door.  An old woman (is this the same old woman that was there when I moved in?) was there to sign the paperwork.

Watched the first episode of 'HOW TO CHANGE YOUR MIND' (Netflix). LSD! 

 950am// - Xfinity arrived. They sent a text but I didn't get it. He left about 1135pm. I will be renting their modem ($14 per month) until I can get Tech2Door to hook up the new PC. This was Xfinity  tech's last day on the job. He's not happy with the way things are handled. Me too. The phone, the living room PC, and the downstairs PC are up and running. 

***I'm now getting 350 Mps on the living room PC.

I have to take the old modem back to i3 Broadband, and I think I'll do that tomorrow on the way to Planet Fitness. 

1155am: PC is 'Off' and will walk on the treadmill today. It's pretty hot already, so it's a 'no go' on the streets.

1215pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and more of TOM SEGURA on J.R.E.

***I noticed that Bob & Alice (across the street) are back after being gone for about a week. The thin guy (son, son in law?) mowed their lawn a couple of days ago.

***The first check of the new downstairs PC is  "62.8 Mbps download". Maybe I'm biased, but it seems a little peppier (because of the larger processor?). 

Scrolling through Netflix and Amazon for movie picks listening to THE GRATEFUL DEAD. 

Began episode #1 of 'CHLOE' (Amazon Prime),  A strange series about a young woman who envies the life of a friend who committed suicide. She crashes her dead friend's circle of acquaintances and realizes that maybe the girl that she admired really didn't have it all. This one is just quirky enough to hit it until the final episode.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
