***Mashed up the speaker/woofer empty box to get it to fit into the big blue can. I still plan to call about the box for the 65" monitor.
I placed the order of 'THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN ARM' on AbeBooks. The address and credit card information were tied to 900 Durkin.
I turned on the Windows Updates and it sat for a while then reached '100%' and asked for a 'restart'.
'TULIP FEVER' is available on Tubi, Pluto TV, and Freevee.
'GRANDMA' Freevee.
Watched 'THE SECOND' (Kanopy). A stylishly clever Australian murder mystery where at about the half way point, the narrator 'breaks the wall' and begins to tell the real story. A famous female writer, her book producer/lover, and her closest friend from childhood spend a few days at the family estate so that the writer can begin her second book (and hence the title) and very soon the two women become linked to the murder of a teenage boy that occurred decades previously; with Rachael Blake, Susie Porter, and Vince Colosimo- directed by Mairi Cameron. Filmed at Jimbour Homestead on the Darling Downs, Queensland, Australia; 55 miles west of Brisbane, Australia
Then I finished 'THE DOORS' (Amazon Prime). I liked the second half of the film more. It made the case for Morrison as a true mystical character and also a nod to the documentary about the influence of American Indians in the history of rock'n'roll. A bunch of personalities and actors in the film. Titus Welliver was in it for a second playing a cop (I missed it).
***I ordered 'THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN ARM' from AbeBooks.com.

Reading bio of NELSON ALGREN.
345pm: TWO MILES AT 4.2 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and began a JOEY'S JOINT.
Weights/ 3 sets & 12 reps
450pm: In the tub with NELSON ALGREN bio and listening to BLACK MARKET BRASS; THE SHAOLIN AFRONAUTS; THE ART ENSEMBLE OF CHICAGO.
***Successfully ran the Windows Updates. A false start, and then a restart. No big deal, but a needless hassle nonetheless. It seems to always involve the mysterious 'toolkit' and I don't think I've ever seen it used.
Watched 'EMERGENCY' (Amazon Prime). Three minority college students find a drunk and passed out white girl in their dorm room. They only try to help her, but they are well aware of the dangers to them if the police hold them responsible for what happened to her; Funny and thought-provoking. Directed Carey Williams and written by K.D. Davila.
