Up 530am: More rain and drizzle until about 10am and then cloudy with temps to about 60. Yesterday parts of St. Louis got almost a foot of rain. The biggest rainfall event in 100 years for St. Louis and the heaviest rain fell just west of downtown.

I was able to get most of the cardboard and styrofoam into the big blue can. Next Wednesday should be the last time. I saved $23.

Watched the last 45" of 'LONDON TOWN' (Kanopy). The second part of the film was a bit too sappy, but I guess that's what they were going for. It did make me remember that The Clash's music was the most 'left leaning' of all of the bands of that era or any other; with Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Joe Strummer. 

Began 'LAGGIES' (Plex). A reasonable yet humorous look at 'Responsibility'. After befriending some underage teens and buying them beer, a woman in her late twenties realizes that she's just 'been floating' through life and that she needs 'a plan'; with Keira Knightley, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Sam Rockwell, and Mark Webber. I shut it down with 65 minutes left and I plan to finish it tonight.

***830am: I began disassembling the living room PC. I sincerely hope that things are back up and running (better than I had any right to expect!) when Christian,the guy from Tech2Door leaves Westview later this afternoon.  

910am: To BLH. I bought a $425 PC and I got $150 for the old PC and $25 because I wasn't getting a monitor.  

$34 for gas. Regular is now below $4 a gallon.

1025am:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and watched more of THEO VON on J.R.E.

505pm:  In the tub with NELSON ALGREN and listening to JUNIOR MURVIN; THE CONGOS.

I watched a 'TUESDAYS WITH STORIES' and then finished 'LAGGIES' (Plex). Slightly above a TV rom-com, but still worth a look because of the cast; with Keira Knightley, Chloe Grace Moretz, Sam Rockwell, Mark Webber, Ellie Kemper (UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT), and Jeff Garlin (CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM).
