Up 6am: Cloudy, muggy and scattered storms with temps to upper 80's.

***Ordered Tommy's birthday present and a novel (for me) by Susan Issacs that was in the cart from a previous visit. 

Watched 'LEAVE NO TRACE' (Netflix). An affecting Art Film about a father and daughter who live off the grid in the wilderness of Oregon. Almost nothing is divulged about their backstory, but Dad is obviously suffering from PTSD; with Thomasin McKenzie and Ben Foster (CONTRABAND- saw this film a couple of days ago and made me check out another with Ben Foster). 

Going over (in my skull) what I'm going to say to the computer repair guy. 

1010am: PC is 'Off' and still dithering about the call and no rain and it's just going to be humid and cloudy, but some heavy showers rolled through between noon and 1pm. Will have to shut up the house again and turn on the AC. 

1015am: Called Dave at Tech2Door and left word.

1040am: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and finished a TUESDAYS WITH STORIES.

Text from Janny to drop off zucchini(?).

She didn't mean today...maybe tomorrow. 

Finished 'A THIN DARK LINE' and began a HEINLEIN anthology.

1pm. Friday 7/8.  Christian from TECH 2 DOOR

410pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND 1.50 SLANT and began a JOEY'S JOINT. 

450pm: In the tub with HEINLEIN and listening to STONE THE CROWS; MAN.

***Thinking hard about getting a large TV and wireless keyboard and using the table that I already have. The problem would be getting the TV to Westview before the guy arrives on Friday. And, I don't know if he would do all of this. I should call if I decide to go ahead with the buy. 

Watched 'UNKNOWN ORIGINS' (Netflix). A quirky 'Cop/Buddy' tale from Spain about a police detective who must partner with the geeky owner of a comic book store. Mildly interesting and a slightly odd take on the superhero genre. Filmed in the Usera district of Madrid, Spain.

I made a draft to send Janny about getting the TV, but I haven't sent it because I'm still thinking. I guess it doesn't have to be tomorrow or Friday if it might work better for them to put it off.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
