Up 530am: Partly cloudy with temps to low 80's.

Watched Netflix disc 'WORDS ON BATHROOM WALLS'. A high school student learns that he is schizophrenic and battles it with 'Love' & 'Will Power'. I didn't buy the premise for a minute, but it was kind of a compelling story; with Charlie Plummer, Andy Garcia, Taylor Russell, Beth Grant, Molly Parker, and Walton Goggins. Filmed in Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina.

The plan is to do 5 miles on the treadmill and then do the lawn. At 930am still too wet to mow so I'll get the walk in first. 

950am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for the treadmill.

1015am: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT, finished LOUIS C.K & JOE LIST on J.R.E and began MARK ZUCKERBERG on J.R.E.

Finished 'NIGHTMARE ALLEY' by William Lindsay Gresham and began 'A Short Dance In The Sun' by George Benet.

4pm-445pm: Mowed the lawn and cut back some of the weeds in back. I talked to Lou Ann and she said she's bringing back the frog pond. When her daughter in law and her kids lived in the house they wrecked most of the appliances and Lou Ann has to replace them all.

Read more Benet, then showered and left for Bella Milano at 540pm. and listened to Mark Zuckerberg on J.R.E. on the way. Janny and Joe pulled in right after I arrived and I gave her back 'JACK & JILL' by James Paterson. I had a big Caesar Salad (If that was 'large' I'd hate to see a 'small') and one Bud Light; $25 included a five buck tip. Too long waiting for the food, but a very nice gathering. They had us all in a large room and the kids could go wild. I guess we didn't pay for fine dining, but a venue that was 'children friendly'.  Driving home I screwed up the speedometer display and didn't get it back until I was in the garage. Also, I couldn't operate the lights; I still don't know if I got them. I thought you just left it on 'auto'.

I began watching MARK NORMAN on Whiskey Ginger and then two episodes of 'MO' (Netflix). Only one episode to go. I'm going to miss this series.

1030pm: Upstairs PC is 'Off'.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
