Up 530am: Bright and sunny with temps to just over 80 and low humidity.

Watched 'CEZANNE ET MOI' (Plex-TV). The film depicts the lifelong friendship between Emil Zola and Paul Cezanne.  Although childhood friends at school in Aix en Provence, Cezanne came from a rich family and Zola was 'half an orphan'. But Zola became famous first and Cezanne, the painter, remained forever in his shadow. Much of the film is shot in Provence and is a feast for the eyes, but the plot is a bit thin because 'the action' is mostly conversations that move the story along. The film brings to mind the adage that movies should 'show, and not tell'; with Gullaume Canet (Cezanne) and Guillaume Gallienne (Zola).  

Began the series 'DELHI CRIME' (Netflix). I thought that this was a 'True Crime' series set in India, but it's a seven hour 'police drama' about the apprehension of a gang of criminals who brutally attacked a couple on a bus. The woman was brutally raped and both were thrown from the bus and left for dead. I think I'll continue this tonight. 

12pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for an afternoon at Planet Fitness. 

1230pm: To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross and watched the 3 part miniseries  'I JUST KILLED MY DAD' (Netflix), finished TUESDAYS WITH STORIES, and began a THEO VON.

***They cut down most of the undergrowth in the backyard next door. After I came home I grabbed my saw and cut down a couple of treetops that had grown up on my side. They can dispose.

455pm: In the tub to finish 'SAMARITAN' and began  'THE STAR-SPANGLED CRUNCH' by Richard Condon and listening to LITTLE FEAT.

And then more of 'DELHI CRIME' (Netflix). Six men gang rape a woman on a Delhi bus and the reason they did it was 'to protect her honor'.  The men saw the couple making out on the bus and this public display of affection inspired the attack. I am very curious to see how this is handled in the Indian court system.
