Read 'FALSE MEMORY' for a bit and then to County Market/ Fairhills for grocery shopping. They've begun construction of a new Starbucks in the Fairhills parking lot. 

655am: To County Market: $90

Watched 'THE GRAY MAN' (Netflix). I had seen this before and it's a mediocre Action/ Adventure and no surprise that I had forgotten it. The Big Take-Away: American intelligence agencies employ psychotics and sociopaths....Say it ain't so! The film is based on a novel by Mark Greaney who is best known as Tom Clancy's collaborator on his final books. 'THE GRAY MAN' is part of a series by Mark Greaney; with Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfre Woodard, and Shea Whigham. 

1115am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill. 

1135am:   FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE & ZERO SLANT, finished 'THE PHOTOGRAPHER' (NETFLIX). The police and the billionaire's security force had the Argentinian photographer murdered. All the perps got life, but they were all released after less than eight years. Then more of SAM MORRIL on J.R.E. 

Cleaned the bong. FUN FACT: I need an upstairs bong!

Reading 'FALSE MEMORY'

345pm:  TWO MILES AT 3.8 PACE (forgot to bump it up) AND ZERO SLANT - 32" mins; watched TUESDAYS WITH STORIES.

450pm:  In the tub with 'FALSE MEMORY' and listening to THE KINKS- 'Everybody's In Showbiz'. 

Watched 'AMERICAN MURDER: THE FAMILY NEXT DOOR' (Netflix). A young husband and father from suburban Frederick, CO (20 minutes east of Boulder) murders his pregnant wife and their two daughters (ages three and four). At first he denies any involvement in the crimes, but his final confession is terrifying. He seemed like such an ordinary guy yet he whacked two adorable toddlers and his pregnant wife.   FUN FACT: A cop mentions that when a married man begins an intense workout regime it sometimes indicates that he is having an affair or considering doing so. That sounds familiar.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
