Up 6am: I slept through the worst of the fierce storms last night and two and a half inches fell according to the front gauge. Today it's partly cloudy with temps in the mid 80's. Tomorrow the temperature climbs to the mid 90's- the last gasp of summer as temps drop dramatically.

Watched 'MAT KILAU' (Netflix). Made it to just over eight minutes and shut it down. Too much 'chop socky'.

Then, 'THIS IS THE END' (Netflix). Comedians play themselves (kind of) in this film about the night that the biblical Apocalypse occurs. 'The End of Times' shouldn't be this funny.  It's an absurd premise yet they make it work because the idea is so off the wall; with James Franco, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Michael Cera, Emma Watson, Mindy Kaling, and Channing Tatum.

Watched 'HOW TO CHANGE YOUR MIND' (Netflix); Mescaline. It takes fifteen years for this cactus plant to produce ingestible peyote. Although drug companies have developed a synthetic peyote, Indians are afraid that their sacred growing areas will be poached by mescaline enthusiasts.
