Sa 9/3/22- Buddy Won't Eat!

740am (2- B). 1220pm (B). 4pm (2- B). 450pm (1- gr/wh). 640pm (B). 

Up 545am: Partly cloudy with temps to just over 80.

***Buddy still hasn't eaten since yesterday afternoon. At 615am I noticed some runny stools in his box and I changed the sand early. I'm hoping that the loss of appetite is due to the increase in the medicine; an additional dose in the mornings. 

I wrote up 'A SHORT DANCE IN THE SUN' by George Benet and 'GENTKILL' by Paul Lindsay. 

***When I came back from the bong, Buddy ate the Friskies that I had set out around six. I hope he keeps it down! He did not. About 9am I noticed vomit on his rug by the breezeway.  

Watched 'DAY SHIFT' (Netflix).  A ' Vampire/ Buddy Flick' with lots of 'chop-socky' and crazy car chases and a barely believable storyline; with Jamie Foxx, Dave Franco, Peter Stormare, and Snoop Dogg. Filmed in the San Fernando Valley, California and Atlanta, Georgia.

The plan is to cut down the flowers along the walk for an early Fall clean-up. 

1015am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for some lawn work.

1030am-12pm; cut front flowers and trimmed the hedge and tree near the spigot. 

1230pm- 1pm: Walked to Walgreens for ten bucks worth of cold pills. Out Fairway, Monroe, Lawrence, Kenyon. 

Reading 'THE COFFEE TRADER'

405pm TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and watched more of 'SAVE OUR PARKS' on J.R.E. 

 455pm: In the tub with 'THE COFFEE TRADER' and listening to BOBBY BLUE BLAND.

Watched more of 'THE DEVIL IN OHIO' (Netflix). This seemed ridiculous through the first few episodes and now it's kind of good. In 1922 a satanic religious cult took over a town and then the whole county. I wonder if that has happened? 

825pm: Buddy still hasn't eaten and he's been very lethargic all day.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
