Up 545am: Bright and sunny with temps to about 80.

Router red LED is still lit, yet everything is running smoothly.

Watched 'LAND OF THE BLIND' (Amazon Prime).  A broad satire of Facism, Revolution, and then back to Facism; with Ralph Fiennes, Donald Sutherland, Tom Hollander, Lara Flynn Boyle (TWIN PEAKS), and Laura Fraser (BREAKING BAD)... "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"... 'Won't Get Fooled Again'-  The Who. Shot on location in London, England and at Shepperton Studios, Shepperton, London.

Then more of 'LUDIK' (Netflix). Shut it down with fifteen minutes to go on the third episode.

I haven't decided if I want to go to The Brandenburgs, but I'll get in an early workout just in case. 

1040am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill.

 11am: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and more 'LUDIK' (NETFLIX).

Weights- 4 sets/ 8 reps.

To Red Oak: 105pm- 315pm;  sat at the edge of the driveway in the garage. They gave me a very nice rain gauge, some vegetables, and let me borrow the DVD-'SHADOWLANDS'.

Stopped at County Market South 6th; beer, bread & peanut butter. 

445pm:  In the tub with 'THE COFFEE TRADER' and listening to RORY GALLAGHER.

Upstairs till 7pm with more Rory Gallagher and David Liss.

Then more 'LUDIK' (Netflix). Only thirty minutes left in the series and it looks like they won't be able to end all the loose ends. Maybe there will be another season?

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
