Up 540am: Bright and sunny with temps to lower 90's. Summer's last hurrah and temps only in the upper 60's by Thursday.

Watched 'STARLET' (Tubi-tv). A surprisingly moving tale of the friendship between an old woman living alone in San Fernando Valley, CA and an actress in the porn industry.  While browsing at the old woman's yard sale the porn actress buys a decorative thermos and discovers that it contains $10,000 in cash. Should she tell the old woman what she's found or keep the cash? She keeps the money and also befriends the old lady. Another classy, low-budget Independent from Sean Baker (RED ROCKET, TANGERINE, THE FLORIDA PROJECT); with Dree Hemingway, Stella Maeve, and James Ransone.

Then, 'HERE TO BE HEARD- The Story of The Slits' (Amazon Prime).  Viv Albertine/ books. The saga of the most important female punk band in history and a vital addition to any discussion of the 'Agit-Pop' musical genre. Outrageous and scandalous yet still very listenable. 

1125am: The PC is 'Off' and the AC is 'On'. The plan is to do The Weights and then hit Planet Fitness. 

1220pm: To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross and watched the first episode of 'HOW TO FIX A DRUG SCANDAL' (NETFLIX) - A police chemist was paid to test confiscated drugs, but she used them (for years?) and falsified evidence. I had seen this before and no need to finish the miniseries;  'FATHERS WHO KILL'- On the island of Jersey a Polish man stabs his 3 young children,  his wife, father in law, his wife's best friend and her young daughter- 6 total and he attempted suicide; YOUR MOM'S HOUSE with ARI SHAFFIR. 

445pm:  In the tub with 'FALSE MEMORY' and listening to 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom'- NETFLIX MOVIE SOUNDTRACK; 'Physical Graffiti'- LED ZEPPELIN.

Began watching Disc #2 Netflix series 'THE HANDMAID'S TALE'. I shut it down at 43" in Chapter #2- A WOMAN'S PLACE.
