Mo 11/28/22
7am (B). 1035am (2-B). 1250pm (2-B). 445pm (2-B). 640pm (2-B).
Up 630am: Mostly cloudy with temps to about 50.
Watched 'OF GOOD REPORT' (Netflix). A taciturn (he grunts, growls, and stares, but no dialogue) teacher in rural South Africa has an affair with one of his students. The pressure of the affair causes him to lose his mind, and the depravity begins. An unusual soundtrack and the opening scene is like nothing else. A man stumbles through a desert landscape and he's pulling human teeth out of his scalp. 12 wins & 14 nominations.
I called about the new ATT Group Medicare Advantage PPO and it looks like the Aetna plan is the better option. Except the 'out of pocket' for the ATT plan is $900, but the max for Aetna is $4,650. That's not enough to make me switch plans and he wasn't absolutely sure if Memorial Medical was an accepted provider. It has to be.
I called MetLife to make sure that my policy continues through 2023 and they will call me back.
I will keep the same coverage as last year and if I don't hear back from MetLife I will try again another day before 12/7.
I finished 'IS THAT BLACK ENOUGH FOR YOU' (Netflix). I still can't believe how many of these films that I have not seen. 'Fun Fact: During the 70's Black films introduced the idea of releasing the soundtrack before the movie had hit the screens.
Realized that I hadn't sent the 'Chat', so I did a quick one.
1220pm: I knocked about 80 albums out of Music Unlimited and then shut down the PC. The plan is to do the weights and then spend the afternoon at Planet Fitness.
1pm: To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross. 45"Treadmill. 30"Bike. 30"Treadmill. Only 15" Cross and watched the documentary 'MURDER TO MERCY: The Cyntoia Brown Story' (Netflix); finished the 3 part interview with ANDY PARTRIDGE; and began a JOEY'S JOINT.
450pm: In the tub with 'MR MURDER' and listening to GRAHAM PARKER; 'Low'- BOWIE; TIN MACHINE.
Began 'GANGS OF LONDON' (Amazon Prime). The Big Boss of a crime family is murdered and his son vows that no gang business will be allowed until his father's killer is found. An unbelievable fight sequence in episode #2 occurs when a man wearing only his underpants is interrupted while chopping up a body with a meat cleaver. The 'hero?' fights the cleaver wielding man to the death. A cut above (no pun intended)! This leaves Amazon Prime in two days and I'm going to binge it through to the end. I should have begun this one earlier.
