Watched 'MY POLICEMAN' (Amazon Prime). Set mostly in the late 1950's, a young policeman from Brighton marries a woman he 'respects', but his real love is for a closeted gay museum worker. A film about the psychological damage done when people are forced to deny their sexuality in a repressive society. The film is taken from a novel by Bethan Roberts who based her fictional story on the life of E. M. Forster who was in love with a married man who happened to be a policeman. 

***Made a $40 payment to the Springfield Clinic for the pre-colonoscopy visit and I tried to pay a $33 charge from the dentist, but they decided to waive it. Hoo-fucking-ray!

The series 'THE VALHALLA MURDERS' (Netflix).  A captivating police thriller from Iceland and I plan to see this one through to the end. 

I logged in to Amazon for a 15" ceramic Xmas tree. They will notify me when the price drops. 

1130am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit Planet Fitness and then up the hill to the Dollar General for AA batteries and possibly a scented candle.

1220pm:  To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30" Cross and listened to most of 'The Empty Glass'- PETE TOWNSEND;  and watched more of 'THE VALHALLA MURDERS' (Netflix).. SKEPTIC TANK- on the road with LIST & NORMAND traveling into NYC from New Jersey.

To Dollar General for batteries and maybe a 'most stinkiest' candle when a middle aged black man stopped me and said, "They got COVID up in there!". And, I guess they did because the store was closed, so I'll try again some other day.  

445pm: In the tub with CANTO FOR A GYPSY and listening to 'Cruel Country'- WILCO; JAMES MCMURTRY Playlist. 

Watched more of 'TREASON' (Netflix). Only the final episode remains.  But the intensity has tapered off from the original premise. That was that a minor British operative's career was aided by a foreign enemy, and now it's payback time. Now it's just a story of a criminal boss of MI6, which has been done many times before, however I'm damn sure going to watch episode #5.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
