Up 5am: I could have slept longer, but I was apprehensive about how Buddy was feeling. He seems OK...so far- 6am.  At the end of the day (7pm) he is not as voracious, but he still loves to eat and he seems to be his 'normal' self. He definitely sleeps much longer than he did even last year.  None of the 'litter box/ dry food' today and we'll see how it goes.

Another gloomy and chilly day with temps only to the upper 20's and overcast.

Watched a half hour of 'UNCLE JOEY'S JOINT'- Joey has trouble with a man whose daughter plays on Joey's daughter's basketball team.

Watched 'A JOURNAL FOR JORDAN'. A love story between a female journalist at the New York Times and a conservative Top Sergeant in the Army. It's about how they met, decided to have a child, and then how she and her baby coped after he was killed in Iraq. Her husband wrote a journal that was intended for his son to learn 'how to be a man' and this is the overall theme of the film. Sounds kind of corny, but it wasn't all that bad, but close. It reminded me of the really well done movie for 'Lifetime';  with Michael B. Jordan, Chante Adams, and directed by Denzel Washington. Based on a true story.  

Then I finished 'BEAST OF BANGALORE: Indian Predator. I wish there had been more about the change in crime coverage by the Indian media in the 1990's. To gain ratings, news stations would make it seem that the average person was directly threatened by rapists and killers behind every tree and on any street. 

1125am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit Planet Fitness after mailing the disc.

5pm: In the tub with 'GOODBYE MICKEY MOUSE' and listening to THE HENRY THREADGILL SEXTETT; HUSKER DU Playlist.

Began 'FORTUNE TELLER: A TV Scam' (Netflix). An Italian woman with an abrasive demeanor sells questionable beauty & health products on local television stations. I shut it down with 27 minutes to go in episode #2. It's only four episodes so I'll probably see it through to the end.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
