Up 545am: Cloudy with misty drizzle beginning later this morning and continuing through the day. Temps to low 40's.

Watch 'EMILY THE CRIMINAL' (Netflix). This is the best film that I've seen in a long while! A young woman turns to a life of crime-credit card fraud. The film outlines how this probably works in real life. Thieves make the cards, and then pay people a couple of  Benjamins to buy purchases worth thousands using the fake cards. Then they sell the stolen merchandise. A very interesting film; with Aubrey Plaza, Theo Rossi, and a very nifty cameo by Gina Gershon.

***I just noticed that Aubrey Plaza has another highly rated film that I have not seen and it's streaming on Amazon Prime! How come I wasn't aware of this?

This morning I had planned to watch 'COLETTE' (Netflix), but I took a chance on 'EMILY THE CRIMINAL' (Netflix), so now I'll give it a shot.

'COLETTE' (Netflix). A biopic about the most famous French female author in history- Colette. Her husband used her story and her writing expertise to create a 'literary brand' and led the public to believe that he was the creator. The fact that Colette was an 'out' lesbian in the early days of the 20th century was pretty incredible; with Keira Knightley, Fiona Shaw, and Dominic West. One win & 11 nominations.

This has been in my queue for months and I'm glad that I finally gave it a chance because this was a fine film.

1155am:  FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and watched a complete TUESDAYS WITH STORIES;  and began TOM PAPA with BILL BURR.

445pm: In the tub with 'CASS TIMBERLANE' and listening to GRETTA VAN FLEET;  FERAL ROOTS; RIVAL SONS. 

****Internet Down

Watching JESSE VENTURA on THEO VON and lost the Internet 7pm-740pm. I got a text from Xfinity that it would be back by 8pm. I also did the Windows Updates and that took some time. 

Watched more of 'THE PHANTOM' (Netflix). An Hispanic man is put to death for the stabbing death of a young clerk in a convenience store. But, it was another man named Carlos that did the deed. I shut it down with 20 minutes left to go.

This was a stressful evening.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
