Up 535am: Cloudy with temps to low 50's and rain beginning late morning and continued all day.

Paid the cards and changed the password to Heartland.

Did the Windows Updates and seemed a bit quicker on the upstairs PC. Why?

Watched 'BLACK BEAR' (Amazon Prime). This is another film starring Aubrey Plaza. A young woman attends a writer's retreat and comes up with two possible story lines. The first is about a woman who visits a writer's retreat and meets a couple with many unresolved issues, and the second concerns a very difficult 'diva'. The theme is that 'triangle love relationships' are toxic; with Aubrey Plaza, Christopher Abbott, and Sarah Gadon. Filmed in Long Lake, New York. 

Watched the last twenty minutes of 'THE PHANTOM' (Netflix). Carlos Hernandez died in prison convicted of another assault of a woman and Carlos Lucas never received a pardon from the state of Texas. "They (the state of Texas) kill people to show people that it's wrong to kill people."

Began 'DEAD END' (Netflix). This is a six part series about a ride share from Cieszyn, Poland across the border into Czechia. They stop at a rest stop and get in the wrong car. This car had just been used to commit an armed robbery. You've got to suspend belief but this will be an easy one to binge (six 30" segments is only three hours). Set near Cieszyn, Poland.

1120am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Planet Fitness. After the workout I'll get more beer.

Email from Janny saying that they wanted to stop by with oranges from Melissa. Where did she get them? I got home at 4pm and they were on the breezeway, and there's no way I could eat all of them. 

***The 'magic slate' arrived and they left it on the front stoop in the rain. The box was soaked but the slate was sealed in plastic. 

12pm: To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross watched 'DON'T PICK UP THE PHONE' (Netflix)- Man on the phone claims to be a cop and talks managers of fast food restaurants to stop search employees; finished a JOEY'S JOINT; began TIM DILLON interview with LEX FRIDMAN.

450pm: In the tub and finished 'CASS TIMBERLANE' & began 'GOODBYE MICKEY, MOUSE' by Len Deighton and listening to 'SYNOVIAL JOINTS'- Steve Coleman; RIVAL SONS Playlist.

Watched some of JOEY'S JOINT from last Thursday.

Began 'IN BROAD DAYLIGHT: The Narvarte Case' (Netflix). Five people are found brutally murdered in an apartment in Narvarte, Mexico. The police claim it's 'drug related' but many feel that these people were executed by the state because of their politics. Shut it down with 37 minutes left to go.

***Buddy has not been wolfing down his food and is acting a little strange. I wonder if it could be that I've begun mixing the dry cat food with the canned food.
