Up 545am: Partly sunny with temps to low 30's. We got about a half inch of snow that stuck mostly on the roads. I had planned to do the grocery shopping early this morning, but I didn't want to get the Elantra dirty. 

Watched 'BARDO: False Chronicle of a Handful of Truth' (Netflix).

{Bardo-  a state of existence between death and rebirth, varying in length according to a person's conduct in life and manner of, or age at, death}. 

In broad strokes the film is a lush and luxurious Mexican Art Film about a famous documentarian's inability to be a citizen of Mexico yet live in the United States. Neither place really offers a real sense of 'home' , but he feels a strong kinship to both. Excellent passive aggressive dialogue and visual images that defy description; 4 wins & 20 nominations. Directed by Alejandro G. Inarritu- '53' Metascore at IMDB.

1040am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to walk the treadmill and try to finish 'THE RISK POOL' this afternoon. 

11am: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT and began 'JACK RYAN Season 3' (Amazon Prime) Shut it down 10 minutes into episode 2.

Watched podcast of MARC MARON on 'TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF' (Rick Glassman) 

Began episode #1 of 'TRIAL BY FIRE' (Netflix). In Delhi, India a couple's two children are killed in a fire at a local movie theater. They learn that the owners locked the doors so no one could leave and the fire was caused by their negligence. The couple try to gather support so that they can file a class action suit against the powerful theater owners. Very Indian and some parts really accentuate the cultural differences between India and The West.  Shut it down 21 minutes into episode #2. Set in Delhi, India.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
