Up 525am: Cloudy, windy and temps to lower 40's.

***At 725am I got a text from the treadmill repairman saying that he had to cancel because he was 'called in for his other job'. He will call back to set up another time.

Watched 'BLOOD WILL TELL' (Netflix). It's a murky and melodramatic Murder Mystery set in Argentina. A man does nothing as his wife is strangled by a commercial cake mixer and later his daughter does nothing as he suffers a fatal wound while burying the body of his wife's lover. A strange presentation, but it worked.

Since I don't have a treadmill, it's back to daily visits to the local health clubs. Today the plan is to do the weights and then hit Esporta. On the way home I'll stop at Schnucks for onions, cat food, cat litter, and cottage cheese. (I bought another 32 pack of 'Fish Favorites') 

940am: PC is 'Off' and preparing to leave for Esporta. I want to get back earlier so that I can spend a couple of hours reading.

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps.

1045am: To Esporta. 45" Precor.  45"Treadmill.  30"Cross. 15" Bike. 15" Precor. Watched an episode of 'NIGHTMARE IN SUBURBIA' (Amazon Prime); watched '21 JUMP STREET' (Netflix)- Nonsense about rookie cops working undercover in a Los Angeles high school. Stooopid; began LIZ PHAIR on J.R.E.. 

Just as I was preparing to leave I got an email from Janny about Jonas's birthday party tonight in Athens at 5pm. Too much going on today and there was zero probability for this happening today. As I was preparing a polite way of saying 'No', I got a text from the repairman saying that he could make the appointment for 345pm today. I told him 'Yes'. 

345pm Treadmill and he left about 430pm. The belt that I walk on needs to be replaced, but it's under warranty. $250 for the belt (free for me), but $250 for labor. He'll order it on Monday and it's two or three days for delivery. He said I should be back in business by Friday of next week. He said that I should be able to use the machine until the old belt is replaced. He only works for Body Quest in the mornings because he works afternoons & evenings for the state.  

New belt. I ordered a bottle of treadmill oil from Amazon while I was talking to the repairman. he said that this was a necessary item and I told him that the installers failed to bring this up.

445pm: In the tub with 'THE SECOND SON' and listening to JIMI HENDRIX Live Playlist.

Began Netflix disc 'MOTHERING SUNDAY'. Set in rural England after WWI, a very rich young man has sex with one of the servants and then he dies in a car accident. Slow moving story, but beautifully shot. I shut it down at 1 hr. and 13 minutes.

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
