Up 610am: Last night we got a light dusting of snow that warranted a 'winter advisory' till 9am. Very cold and breezy with temps only to the upper teens. 

Watched 'THE KINGS OF THE WORLD' (Netflix). A young man inherits a tract of land from his dead grandmother and he and a few friends set off through rural Columbia to stake his claim. Many years ago owners were 'displaced' by mining interests and the government is compensating the families who were forced to vacate the area. But bureaucratic intransigence & ineptitude prevent the boy from realizing his dream. The boys started in Apartado, Columbia (just east and north of the border with Panama) and traveled to Nechi, Columbia (approx. 215 miles east). "When ya ain't got nothing, ya got nothing to lose".

1030am: PC is 'Off' and the plan was to hit the treadmill, but I had a change of heart and decided to visit Planet Fitness.

His next hit is for the shrink. Star-studded cast in a well written film;  with William H. Macy, Neve Campbell, John Ritter, Donald Sutherland, and Tracey Ullman; more of TOM PAPA on J.R.E.; 'NIGHTMARE IN SUBURBIA' (Amazon Prime) - A son & grandson kill gramps and tell the Sheffield police that the old man had gone back to Yemen.  A few years later the body was found beside the road because the killers were selling the house where they had hidden the body.

Dropped the series that I began last night

Began 'CRIME DIARIES: Night Out' (Netflix). Shut it down 15 minutes into episode #2. A fictionalized account of a real incident that happened in Columbia on Halloween Night, 2010. A young man is out partying with friends and later he's found beaten and drowned in a canal. At first it was thought that he fell in, but then evidence seemed to show a more sinister explanation. I'm only lukewarm on this one, and we'll see if I'll continue tomorrow night. So many foreign series, and so many are bad or just mediocre .

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
