***First time to use 'Notepad' for the journal.
Watched 'KILL YOUR FRIENDS' (Peacock). A scathing satire about a British 'A&R' (Artist/ Repertoire) guy at the fictional UNIGRAM RECORDS during the late 90's. It's a savage and cutthroat kind of business and the only concern is Profit and where Ambition is usually mistaken for Talent. It's an excellent concept for a film yet I can understand the lack of decent reviews. However, I found some of it was hilariously funny; with Nicholas Hoult, James Corden (LATE, LATE NIGHT), Georgia King, and Craig Roberts. '45 Metascore'.
Watched 'FRANCES HA' (Netflix). Set in contemporary NYC, a young woman of twenty-seven is stuck in a rocky transition from late adolescence to adulthood. And even at the end of the film, she's still not a grownup, but maybe that's the point of the film. Acceptance of who you are is more important than becoming what others expect you to be. Title Explained: in the last scene, she gets her Brooklyn 'home' and only her first name and the last two letters of her last name fit on her apartment mail slot; with Greta Gerwig, Michael Zegen (THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL), Grace Gummer (daughter of Meryl Streep), and Adam Driver. Directed by Noah Baumbach. 1 win & 49 nominations; '82 Metascore'.
1225pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill.
1240pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished ANDREW SANTINO on J.R.E; and a TUESDAYS WITH STORIES (Mark stopped the show to shit).
Reading 'DETOUR'
Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps
350pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT began a JOEY'S JOINT.
445pm: In the tub with 'DETOUR' and listening to 'THE WELLSPRING CONSPIRACY'; THE NIRVANA Playlist.
***I noticed a folder on the downstairs PC that detailed my last colonoscopy in late January of 2020. Interesting. The constipation incident was several years earlier and it appears that the eggs did the trick.
Watched the end of JOEY'S JOINT on YouTube
More of 'VICTIM NUMBER 8' (Netflix). Only one more episode to go and I hope that there is a satisfying ending. I haven't looked to see if there will be a season #2 because if I knew there was more it would be kind of a letdown.
Began an interview with Daniel Day Lewis and Paul Thomas Anderson on YouTube.
