 Fr 2/10/23

7am (2-B). 925am (2-B). 1210pm (2-B). 445pm (2-B). 710pm (2-B).

Up 530am: Mostly sunny with temps to mid 30's.

Watched 'LOVING ADULTS' (Netflix). An affluent Danish man's mistress demands that he leave his wife. But his wife will turn him into the police for business fraud if he even tries to divorce. So, the man decides to run his wife over when she takes her evening run. However, he runs over (twice!) the wrong woman! It's a wild tale and I'll bet that there will be an English remake of this one. I really liked it. Filmed and set in and around scenic Funen, Denmark.

***This morning a tree cutting service was working on the big tree down the street on the other side at the older single woman's house. Sometime in the future this area will be known as 'The Stumps' instead of 'The Oaks'.

***They only trimmed the tree and the difference is barely discernible. I guess I'm not the only one who cares about our neighborhood trees.

More 'UNDERCOVER' (Netflix). Melodramatic and over the top and American country & western on the soundtrack. Shut it down 35 minutes into episode #7.

1120am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Planet Fitness.

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps.

I prepared the $50 Texas Roadhouse gift certificate for mailing to Red Oak Lane when I went to Planet Fitness.

1230pm: To Planet Fitness

2 tried. 'CROPSEY' (Amazon Prime). The documentary began with rumors about a mythical child abductor who lived in the woods on  Staten Island.  This is where the infamous Willowbrook Hospital was located. ANDRE RAND is the name of the homeless man who was credited with the murders and kidnappings. He might have been innocent as all of the evidence against him was circumstantial; more of 'B-REAL' (Cypress Hill) on J.R.E; finished SEAN PENN on CLUB RANDOM.

450pm: In the tub with 'STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND' and listening to RICH ROBINSON; 'Dead Man's Pop'- THE REPLACEMENTS.

Watched more of 'B-REAL on J.R.E.' and then I watched a YouTube video 'B-REAL In The Smoke Box' with DOUG BENSON.

Began Netflix disc '12 MIGHTY ORPHANS'. A very corny and cloying film that circulates every cliche in the book about the value of 'team spirit' and 'self reliance'. It's a fractured fable about a troubled football coach who introduces new strategies into the game of football and this allows his team of orphans to become the 'darlings' of  the Texas plains...or something; with Luke Wilson, Wayne Knight, Martin Sheen, Treat Williams, and Ron White.       Shut it down at 1 hour and 12 minutes

I finished 'STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND' before I went to sleep.
