Fr 2/24/23- Fish Fry on Red Oak
Fr 2/24/23- Fist Fry on Red Oak at 5pm
710am (B). 10am (2-B). 430pm (2-B). 950pm (2-B).
Up 535am: Partly sunny with temps to upper 30's.
Watched 'THE POST-TRUTH WORLD' (Netflix). A film from Taiwan about the murder of a young girl in the public restroom of a baseball stadium. Her boyfriend is tried and convicted for the killing, but he escapes and teams up with an on-line podcaster to find the real perpetrator. A wild and wooly plot and the killer is the grandmother of a food vendor who was present in the bathroom when the killing occurred. Maybe it was aimed specifically at Taiwanese audiences because it certainly did not make sense to this American. The film seemed to strain to be layered and intricate, but it just came across as dumb.
1005am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to get in 5 miles now and 2 miles later. I have to be at the Lake at 5pm for the fish fry.
1020am: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began 'Protect Our Parks 7' on J.R.E.
Reading 'Guilty Wives'
No weights, but I did 3 sets/ 15 rep at 220pm.
Reading 'Guilty Wives'
315pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of NEAL BRENNAN on HONEY DEW.
***440pm: To Lake Club. When I got to the Lake Club there were a million people. Janny met me outside and Joe was in line waiting to buy tickets for the food. Janny and I agreed that it would be best to go to another restaurant. We reconvened at Red Oak and decided that we would eat there. They had recently bought a big box of catfish at Sam's so Joe put them in their air fryer and we had a nice chat & meal in their dining area. I think it was a much better time than sitting in a crowded meeting hall with a mob of people. I got home at 930pm.
