Watched 'ARMAGEDDON TIME' (Peacock-TV). A coming of age tale of the director's life (James Gray) as a 12 year old boy growing up in racially troubled Queens NY in 1980. Janny mentioned this film and I think she didn't like it. Family Values run amok, and are not very sympathetic to 'right-wingers' so I can see why it wouldn't be her cup of tea; with Anne Hathaway, Jeremy Strong, Banks Repeta, Jaylin Webb, and Anthony Hopkins. It's not a civics lesson, but more of a memory piece about the director's life in racially conflicted Queens NY- 1980.

Wrote 'The Chat' and included a ham-fisted review of 'ARMAGEDDON TIME' and 'DOPE'.

Watched episode #3 of 'CRIME DIARIES: The Candidate' (Netflix).

1155am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a five mile walk on the treadmill. It's very warm, but the wind is blowing with gusts over 30mph. 

1215pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched an hour YouTube documentary about the infamous television series, SOUTH PARK; began SAM MORRIL on KFC RADIO.

Began 'BLOOD BROTHERS: Malcolm X & Muhammad Ali' (Netflix). An interesting examination of Ali's exposure to The Nation of Islam. I shut it down with 44 minutes left to go, but I'll finish this one for sure. 

Finished the first episode of 'YELLOWSTONE' (Peacock-TV). I think this is what is known as "Dad TV".

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
