Up 530am: Partly cloudy, breezy and temps to mid 40's.

Watched 'THE STRAYS' (Netflix). A wealthy and mixed race English woman has concealed from her family the fact that she abandoned her two other children when they were babies. Almost two decades later the two Black children come back to terrorize their mother and her new family, and then Mom leaves everyone...again.  'You can never get away from the fact, if you are not White, you are considered Black'. This film was edgy, but didn't go far enough so I'd only give it a 'B' Minus or a 'C' Plus. It's still 'worth a look' because it did offer tonal elements of the Horror/ Slasher Genre for a unique perspective on Race & Class. 

Watched a YouTube explanation of the film. I didn't learn anything new and his interpretation was the same as mine. 'A portrait of a selfish woman who yearned for a better life without the ties of family regardless of the color of her skin'.

 More of 'CALIPHATE' (Netflix) and finished episode #4.

10am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to walk 5 miles on the treadmill and then head to the dentist for the 1pm appointment. And not a moment too soon as the tooth on the upper left side is bothering me enough to use the 'tooth pain stuff' this morning. 

1015am:  FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished 'MURDAUGH MURDERS: A Southern Scandal' (Netflix); began SHANE GILLIS on HONEY DEW. 

No weights 

1240pm: To dentist. Confusion over forms. Cleaning & then I waited for about 20 minutes before dentist replaced 2 fillings, lower left: $228

Car wash- It's on the other side of the building at the 'KIA' entrance and they vacuum, but today it was down. 

4pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of SHANE GILLIS on HONEY DEW. 

450pm: In the tub to begin 'GUILTY WIVES' by James Patterson and listening to FREE- 'Tons of Sobs'; Leslie West- MOUNTAIN. 

Watched part of a 'SMOKEBOX'

More of 'CALIPHATE' (Netflix). I finished episode #6 and only #7 & #8 remain.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
