Watched 'CRIMES OF THE FUTURE' (Kanopy). The film's outrageous premise is that the human race's next evolutionary leap will be the ability to eat plastic... "They're evolving away from the human path and that cannot be allowed to continue". The film boasts an unbelievably imaginative set design and the mechanical contraptions are positively visionary. The plot is intentionally enigmatic, but the dialogue is clever and quirky; with Viggo Mortensen, Lea Seydoux, and Kristen Stewart. Directed by David Cronenberg- 6 wins & 23 nominations.

Watched 'MARGOT AT THE WEDDING' (Kanopy).  A peek into an eccentric and dysfunctional extended family on the eve of a sister's wedding to a man that 'she's only known for a year'; with Nicole Kidman, Jack Black, Jennifer Jason Leigh, John Turturro, and Ciaran Hinds.
