Up 545am: Overcast and rain beginning late this morning and continuing intermittently through Saturday with temps in the upper 40's.

***'THE ONE: The Life And Music of James Brown' arrived in the mail from Amazon. Also, 'HERE TODAY' from Netflix.

Watched the Netflix disc  'HERE TODAY'.  The movie has several very funny bits, but overall, it's a very unfunny movie. A famous TV comedy writer is in the early stages of dementia and he befriends a middle aged black woman who busks for change in the subways of NYC.  They form a warm nonsexual relationship, but it lacks credibility because it comes across as forced because they try too hard to be poignant.  A review from Movie Nation: "...as funny as a teenager’s funeral"Funny Jokes From The Film- "I'd like the outdoors so much more if it happened indoors"... Einstein's Theory of Relativity: "Don't lend your relatives money".

1030am: PC is 'Off' and I want to knock off a little early to finish reading 'BROTHER ODD' so that I can begin the James Brown bio later today. The plan is to hit Planet Fitness and the Wabash PO to mail back the disc. After the workout I want to stop at the Dollar General up the hill and get a canister for the rice.

1155am: To Planet Fitness. 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill. 30"Cross; finished the last episode of 'SWARM' (Amazon Prime); 'WACO- American Apocalypse' (Netflix); more of ANDREW HUBERMAN on J.R.E.; finished Bar stool guy on THEO VON;  began a SKEPTIC TANK. 

Stopped up the hill at Dollar General and got a glass canister for rice (perfect!) & a new mat for Buddy (breezeway door): $14.

445pm: In the tub and began 'THE ONE- The Life & Music of James Brown' and listening to MILES DAVIS- 'Get Up With It' Playlist & 'Champions (rare cuts 'Jack Johnson. 

635pm-705pm: Reading 'THE ONE' upstairs & more MILES @ The Fillmore.

More 'WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS' (Netflix). This is one long soap opera, but I'm getting more interested in it as the story unfolds. I will definitely be revisiting 'Season One' sometime in the future.  I shut it down 9 minutes into episode #5.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
