***'Spring Forward' begins tonight. Last year a bill was introduced in congress to end this foolishness, but nothing was done.

Up 6am: Sunny early, then cloudy with rain beginning this afternoon and continuing through the night. Temps to low 40's.

Watched 'ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT' (Netflix). From October 1914 to the end of the war in November of 1918 the 'Western Front' barely moved, yet more than three million soldiers died there. The film is a harrowing testament to the pointlessness of war. This film is up for 'Best Picture' in the 2023 Oscar Ballot. Filmed in Prague, Czech Republic.

1135am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill. 

12pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished 'BROKEN- 'Makeup Mayhem' & began 'BROKEN- 'Big Vape' (Netflix). 'JUUL' is pronounced 'jew-el'; began 

MICHAEL PENA on WHISKEY GINGER. 

Finished 'THE TEMPLE OF GOLD'.

330pm (430pm- new time; I changed all the clocks). TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of MICHAEL PENA on WHISKEY GINGER. 

430pm: In the tub to begin 'TILL DEATH DO US PART' by VINCIENT BUGLIOSI and listening to HENRY TRREADGILL; SOUNDGARDEN- 'Superunknown' Deluxe Playlist. 

More of 'COFFEE ZILLA' on J.R.E. 

Began 'WOMEN TALKING' (Amazon Prime). This film is an Oscar contender and it's going to be removed from Amazon Prime tomorrow night at 9pm. That's when the Academy Awards begin. Very deep and thought provoking. Women in a religious cult are being sexually stalked and raped by the men and nothing is done about it. God turns a blind eye, again. I shut it down at 1 hour and 7 minutes.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
