Sa 3/18/23

655am (B). 935am (2-SB). 11am (2-B). 450pm (2-B). 710pm (2-B).

Up 520am: A light dusting of snow fell last night. Today, partly cloudy & windy with temps only in the mid 20's. With the wind blowing and gusting, this is probably one of the coldest years of this winter season.

***Buddy woke me up around midnight and I left out a small portion and he ate it. At 2am he wanted more and I fed him this morning and he seems to have fully recovered- Tip Top Magoo.

Watch 'A LAND IMAGINED' (Netflix). A strange and haunting film noir set in Singapore. A detective is trying to locate a missing worker who worked for a multinational land reclamation company on the south shore of the island nation of Singapore. You don't even know why the detective is looking for this man and the film is more about the dire treatment of the workers. They have no rights, they live in wretched conditions, and the company keeps their passports. I really liked this one, very slow to unfold and moody; director Siew Hua Yeo.

Watched 'THE CALL' (Netflix). A crazy 'time paradox' film. Two teenage girls communicate on a phone that links the past with the future. One girl is talking from 1999 and the other is in 2020 and events can be changed in the past to affect the future.  I shut it down with one hour and two minutes left to go. Will continue this one tonight.

I've decided to get an early start to Esporta.

1025am: PC is 'Off' and will do the weights and then hit Esporta.

Weights:  3 sets/ 15 reps

1115am:  To Esporta. 45" Precor

45"Treadmill.  30"Cross.  30"Bike.  30" Precor; 45" of LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER (Netflix); more of 'BROKEN' (Netflix)- finished 'Vapes', 'Furniture Tip Over', began 'Recycling Scam'; finished TAYLOR TOMLINSON on PETE HOLMES; MS. PAT on BREAKING BREAD- TOM PAPA.

To SCHNUCKS for 30pk of Busch Light

Reading 'BROTHER ODD'

455pm:  In the tub with 'HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR PERSONALITY THROUGH READING' and listening to 'EMERSON LAKE & PALMER- 'Tarkus' Deluxe; Early J. GEILS BAND Playlist.

Finished MS. PAT on 'Breaking Bread'.

Finished 'THE CALL' (Netflix). I watched a YouTube video that attempted to 'explain' the film, but I'm still in the dark. Not a 'time loop', but two distinct points in time. One is in the past and one is in the present and they kind of 'move together'. Anyway, I still liked the film even if I struggled to keep up with the storyline.
