Up 515am: I awoke slightly early because I thought I heard Buddy getting sick, but he seems OK and he ate his breakfast with no problem and he's been glued to his new rug. Overcast with light rain ending late morning and then partly sunny with temps to about 50.

Watched Netflix disc 'THE DRY'.  An Australian federal agent returns to his home town to investigate a murder/ suicide. One of his teenage friends is believed to have shot his son and wife and then committed suicide. The two friends are also linked to the death of a girl who drowned on an outing twenty years previously. The two crimes are solved, and as I was watching the film I was sure that it had been based on an excellent novel. It was; with Eric Bana and other talented Australian actors.  6 wins and 17 nominations. I'll make a note to check out one of Jane Harper's Australian novels from the library. Set in the fictional town of Kiewarra which is supposed to be five hours from Melbourne in south-eastern Australia. The film was shot in the Wimmera Southern Mallee region.

Finished the last episode of ''WACO: American Apocalypse' (Netflix). The entire 'Waco Operation' seems like a textbook example of an unreasonable search and seizure- 4 th Amendment. Although various aspects of this incident have been tried numerous times in civil and criminal courts, all decisions remain extremely controversial. 

1120am: PC is 'Off' and the plan was to walk to Heartland and deposit the Aetna dental check in the night deposit and mail the Netflix disc at a PO box. But, it's too cold and windy so the disc will go in my mailbox for the postman and I'll walk to the credit union tomorrow when temps should be in the low 60's.  

1135am:  FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched the complete interview with ROY WOOD JR. on BLOCKS- NEAL BRENNAN;  more of ANDREW HUBERMAN.

Reading 'THE ONE'

345pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began MARK NORMAND on BONFIRE (Oakerson/ Soder).

440pm: In the tub with 'THE ONE' and listening to ANTHONY BRAXTON Playlist; FUNKADELIC Playlist; PARLIAMENT Playlist. 

Watched a 20 minute interview on YouTube with Quentin Tarantino, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Margo Robbie. 

Began 'NIGHT COMES ON' (Tubi). Dominique Fishback was made for the role and I have no idea how this one will end.  I shut it down at 54 minutes and about 30 minutes left to go.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
