Did the Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'BEAST' (Amazon Prime). It's just like 'JAWS', but the monster is a lion instead of a shark. The film is well written and inventive & creative 'scares' keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the film; with Idris Elba. "The Guardian"- 'B-Movie' bringing an 'A-Game'. 

Finished 'WOMEN TALKING' (Amazon Prime). Basically, it's one long philosophical discussion about whether women can coexist with men or should they just leave. Scintillating dialogue & debate and it's kind of like David Mamet for women; with Rooney Mara, Claire Foy, Ben Whishaw, and Frances McDormand.

1110am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill.

1125am: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched a couple of YouTube videos about 'WOMEN TALKING; began DUNCAN TRUSSELL on J.R.E.

450pm: In the tub with 'TILL DEATH DO US PART' and listening to THE ROLLING STONES- 'Goats Head Soup' Deluxe; OASIS- 'Definitely Maybe'; THE DAMNED Compilation.

Began 'Something's Burning' podcast- GILLIS/ NORMAND/ OAKERSON

Began 'GET ON UP' (Netflix).  Just a cut above a standard bio-pic and an odd incident to begin the story; with Chadwick Boseman, Dan Aykroyd, Viola Davis, Craig Robinson, and Octavia Spencer. Mick Jagger was an executive producer. Shut it down right at one hour.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
