715am (B). 845am (1-SB). 955am (2-B). 1130am (1-SB). 435pm (2-B). 710pm (2-B).
Up 535am: Partly cloudy and breezy with temps to about 50 and much cooler than yesterday.
I wrote the 'Day Late' chat that I forgot to send because of yesterday's early grocery shopping.
Watched Netflix disc 'AD ASTRA'... Not since 'SPACE ODYSSEY'...An astronaut is sent on a far off mission to stop deadly power surges that are targeting Earth from outer space. It involves a space mission that his father began near Neptune that went rogue. The plot was loony, but the film was absolutely captivating; with Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherland, John Ortiz, and Liv Tyler. Title: Latin for 'To The Stars'. Another fantastic film directed by James Gray.
Finished 'WEST BEIRUT' (Netflix). An interesting point of view about refugees: Many 'displaced persons' do not want to leave their home countries. Even when governments cannot provide the most basic security & safety measures, many people continue to hold on despite dangerous living conditions because they honestly love where they were born. Nitwits in this country believe that America is the only country on the planet worth inhabiting and this is why the refugees come here.
1110am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for five miles on the treadmill. I'll just leave the Netflix disc in the mailbox and hope the mailman picks it up later this afternoon (or evening).
1135am: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began 'ANIMAL HOUSE' (Netflix), but it wasn't funny; more of RUSSELL BRAND on J.R.E.
Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps
Reading 'THIRD DEGREE'
345pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began TUESDAYS WITH STORIES.
440pm: In the tub to finish 'THIRD DEGREE' by GREG ILES and began 'SATANIC VERSES' by Salman Rushdie & listening to LOU REED Playlist; ALICE IN CHAINS- 'Dirt'. I found a better book than 'SATANIC VERSES' so at bedtime I began 'THE TEMPLE OF GOLD' by William Goldman.
More of DAN SODER & SHANE GILLIS on KFC Radio
Began 'MONIQUE OLIVIER: Accessory to Evil' (Netflix). In the late 1980's a married couple (Michel Paul Fourniret and Monique Olivier) killed and raped virgin teenage girls in Northeast France and Belgium. They seem to check all the boxes and rightfully deserve to be called 'Natural Born Killers'. Shut it down 30 minutes into episode #2. Fourniret was born in Sart-Custinne, Belgium.
