Up 540am: Partly sunny, breezy with temps to low 50's.

***Opened a new 1/8th- Indica. The previous 1/8th lasted almost exactly three weeks- just like all the others. Uncanny. 

Began 'THE FALL' (Netflix). Set in Taipei at the beginning of the lockdowns during the COVID Pandemic. The film concerns a surly high school senior who must learn to live 24/ 7 with her authoritarian mother.  Actually,  Mom is suffering from mental illness and her daughter is the epitome of responsibility & caring. THE HOOK: Mom was hallucinating the noise of waterfalls and in the final section of the film her daughter is almost swept away in a river accident. A strange and heartfelt film and the best movie that deals with the pandemic that I've ever seen. Shot in Taiwan.

445pm:  In the tub with 'TILL DEATH DO US PART' and listening to 'Brain Salad Surgery'-E L & P; Early ROLLING STONES Playlist.

Began 'A STUPID AND FUTILE GESTURE' (Netflix). Thirty three minutes remain and not at all what I thought it would be. It's a fictional documentary about the birth of the National Lampoon franchise; lots of contemporary comedians including Martin Mull, Domhnall Gleeson, Will Forte, Natasha Lyonne, Seth Green, Rick Glassman, Joel McHale. Doesn't really work, but I plan to finish it.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
