Watched 'AFTER YANG' (Tubi).  A provocative idea for a film and although it brings up some intriguing issues, it doesn't really connect. In broad strokes it is the story of an adopted child's robot that breaks down and can't be repaired. The family learns that although Yang was a 'techno-human', he might have been more human than any of them; with Colin Farrell. 12 wins & 37 nominations. '78' MEGASCORE... 'Technohumans/ Clones'..."What a caterpillar calls the end, the rest of the world calls the beginning".

Watched 'HOW HIGH' (Tubi). I shut it down in 58 minutes. A couple of sedulously unfunny 'Cannabis Clowns' go to Harvard. "The higher you are when you study and the higher you are when you take the test will ensure that you get a higher score"; with Method Man, Redman, Obba Babatunde, Fred Willard, Jeffrey Jones, and Tracey Walter. Directed by Jesse Dylan, Bob Dylan's son.  Not funny.

1030am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then walk downtown and pay off the real estate tax (At the INB Bank on Capitol instead of going to the county building) and scout the area around the pot shop. I want to see if the construction has affected the parking in front of the store.

More of 'MUTE' (Netflix). Sergio really did murder his parents. His mother is not really at fault because she was giving him drugs to stop his violent tendencies and his sister witnessed Sergio toss his parents off the balcony. The series was overblown and melodramatic, but I liked it. I'd rate it between a 'C Plus' and a 'B Minus'.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
