Up 555am: Partly sunny & very windy with temps only to about 60. Monday afternoon there was a big pileup on Rt 55 near Farmersville due to blowing dust.

I wrote up 'DIMENSION AND MIRACLES' by Robert Sheckley and 'THE RINGMASTER' by Morris West for the blog.

Watched 'HILLBILLY ELEGY' (Netflix). The film is disturbing in that you don't know whether to celebrate  the strengths of this twisted family or realize that their whole concept of 'family' is more than a little at fault. People who believe that blood relationships are the most important thing might do a little better if they were open to opportunities that occur beyond family;  with Amy Adams, Glenn Close (nearly unrecognizable but she looks supernaturally like her character), Gabriel Basso, and Haley Bennett, and from the novel by J.D. Vance. Directed by Ron Howard. Filmed in Clayton, Georgia, in the far northeastern part of the state.

Began 'FLORIDA MAN' (Netflix). Offbeat and quirky and kinda funny. Well worth at least another night of viewing. Shut it down 7 minutes into episode #2.

(All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
