***Buddy was sick again last night on his mat by the breezeway door. He seemed fine later and ate a full breakfast.

Watched 'WHERE HANDS TOUCH' (Netflix). An odd yet powerful film about the plight of a 'mixed race' teenage girl living in Berlin during the last months of WWII. Her mother wants them to live 'invisible', but being born black automatically makes you an enemy of the state and it really makes it difficult if you have a Nazi boyfriend; with Abbie Cornish, Amandla Stenberg, and George MacKay.

Here's what Hitler had to say on the issue: "Jews were responsible for bringing Negroes into the Rhineland, with the ultimate idea of bastardizing the white race which they hate and thus lowering its cultural and political level so that the Jew might dominate. […] The mulatto children came about through rape or the white mother was a whore…In both cases, there is not the slightest moral duty regarding these offspring of a foreign race.” Filmed on location in Belgium and Isle of Man.

Began a TUESDAYS WITH STORIES

More 'FLORIDA MAN' (Netflix).  I shut it down at twenty three minutes through the last episode and I'll watch the end of this quirky & weird series tomorrow morning.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
