Up 545am: A rainy morning followed by a mix of clouds & sun with temps to mid 70's. Bright & sunny after 3pm.

***Buddy threw up a couple of times last night and he hasn't kept anything down this morning (7am). He ate a little more at 725am and I hope that he keeps it down. Buddy threw up on the kitchen counter about 930am. I noticed ants in his bent blue dish and I put down some bug spray. I can't believe I had a can of Raid.

By late afternoon Buddy kept down his food. He was very lethargic but close to his normal self.  

Watched 'TRAFFIC' (Netflix). A profile of America's War on Drugs from a variety of characters who represent different sides of the problem; the police, the lawmakers, the users, and the traffickers. Every aspect of the 'official' policy (both Mexican and American) seems to end in failure with no change in sight including the phony celebration of 'treatment centers'; with Michael Douglas, Benicio Del Toro, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Erika Christensen, Luis Guzman, Don Cheadle, Miguel Ferrer, Albert Finney, James Brolin, a few actual US senators, Amy Irving, Dennis Quaid, Viola Davis, Peter Riegert. Directed by Steven Soderbergh. Won 4 Oscars; 74 wins & 87 nominations. "86" Metascore.

11am: PC is 'Off' and will do five miles on the treadmill and keep an eye on Buddy. If he hasn't kept anything down by early this afternoon I will call Brewer and make an appointment for tomorrow.  More 'high anxiety' but he's always pulled through and I hope that he can do it again. 

1120am: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; a complete TUESDAYS WITH STORIES;  more of DAVE SMITH on SKEPTIC TANK.

***1pm: Buddy ate a plate of Friskies and I hope he keeps it down.

More of 'WELCOME TO EDEN' (Netflix). Shut it down 25 minutes into episode #4. And we still do not know exactly why 'the five' were selected or what is the true nature of Eden.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
