Up 530am: Mostly sunny with temps to low 80's. 

Watched Netflix disc 'UN AIR DE FAMILLE' ('A Family Resemblance'). A reunion happens at 'Sleepy Dad's Pub' and negative and unaddressed family history sparks anger, recriminations, and crazy dialogue. It's a clever dramedy taken from a play written by two of the stars. It was very French and somewhat like David Mamet with a touch of  'Mumblecore'. 

Ran the Windows Updates and only took a few minutes. 

More of 'ENDEAVOUR' (Netflix). The 'Brainiac Detective' is getting a little hard to believe, but the sets and locations in Oxford are still amazing. Shut it down 46 minutes into episode #2.

Paid Visa and changed password at Heartland

1145am: PC is 'Off' and preparing to walk downtown and mail back the Netflix disc.

345pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began THEO VON on J.R.E. 

440pm: In the tub with 'CONFEDERATES' and listening to KING CRIMSON- 'Adrian Belew' Playlist; FYC- 'The Raw & The Cooked'.

Finished 'TWO BEARS & ONE CAVE'- Bert's Red Carpet and began NIKKI GLASER on THEO VON.

Ran 'Windows Updates'

Began 'IDENTITY THIEF' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down at 103 minutes. Not terribly funny with only a "35"Metascore. Filming locations: Chattanooga, Tennessee; in and around Atlanta, Georgia.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
