Up 530am: Guy next door was watering his flowers. A mix of sun and clouds with temps to upper 80's.

***At 7am the power went out for just a moment (just after the final bong hit). I had to restart the PC to resume the internet connection but it restarted with no problems...Anxiety!

Watched Netflix disc 'THE WHALE'. A morbidly obese gay man seeks a relationship with his teenage daughter whom he abandoned when she was eight years old. "People are amazing because they are incapable of not caring". Won 2 Oscars; 43 wins & 116 nominations. "60" Metascore.

A '100 Score' from The Telegraph:

1120am: PC is "Off" and the plan is to do the weights and then head to Planet Fitness & Wabash PO to mail back the disc.

1130am:  To Planet Fitness; watched complete movie '10 MINUTES GONE' (Amazon Prime)- A very dumb movie, so many missed shots; with BRUCE WILLIS; began a 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'; 

440pm: In the tub with 'MANHATTAN IS MY BEAT' and listening to ENGLISH BEAT Best of; PETE TOWNSHEND Live; REM 'Best of IRS' Playlist.

***A little trouble getting online. I had to turn on the sound bar and had to manually connect to the internet.  I think that this connection problem was tied to the power loss at 7am this morning. Speed- a little over 40 Mbps.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
