Up 530am: Bright & sunny temps to about 90 with a slight breeze. Still there is no rain in the forecast for at least a week.

***Around 9am I noticed a small backhoe digging in the back at the home next to 'Chainsaw Lady'. I guess they are digging to install 'i3 Broadband' and I hope they don't cut a wire that affects 940- (I later learned that this was a very wrong guess).  I talked with one of the workmen when I got back from Planet Fitness. He said the owners were having water issues in their basement. I don't have a clue as to how or why it would work, but it was about a six foot pit dug into the lawn. The worker was using a ladder to get down in the hole and it looked like a connection to some kind of white plastic fitting. Sump pump it wasn't!     

Watched the Netflix disc 'JESUS REVOLUTION'. It was a fictional representation of the real people who brought about "the largest spiritual awakening in American history"....Theme: "Love The Other". It's a Faith Based film that isn't completely corny and ridiculous, but close; with Kelsey Grammer.  Reelviews: "Jesus Revolution takes a fascinating period of American history – the hippie movement and its associated fallout within the Christian community – and transforms it into a bland, TV movie-of-the-week experience."

RogerEbert.com: ``Jesus Revolution is more of a wistful wish to bring in a wave of new followers than an effort to understand what they'll need once they’re there.``

1025am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit Planet Fitness after the weights.

450pm:  In the tub with 'BLOOD HUNT' and listening to JEFF BECK- 'Beckology' Playlist; VANILLA FUDGE- 'Then & Now' Playlist.

Began 'DINNER RUSH' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down at 54 minutes. A slice of life at an Italian restaurant near Tribeca on the lower east side of Manhattan. It really seems like an authentic look at what goes on between the chef and his staff... " All I want to hear out of you is, "'Yes, Chef', 'No, Chef, and 'I don't know, Chef'". I'll definitely finish this tomorrow morning. 

From 'The New Yorker': "Combines pulse-of-the-city drama and comedy with an elaborate revenge plot, but mostly the movie is about New Yorkers talking."

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
