Up 510am: Hot as a blowtorch! Bright, sunny, & humid with temps to 100 degrees. EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING with heat index values in excess of 110.

Watched 'THE INITIATED' (Amazon Prime). It's a fairly tame potboiler about 'Columbian Municipal Water Rights' and based on a series of novels by Mario Mendoza in which his main character, Frank Molina is a bipolar/ alcoholic journalist. 'The Snake's Nest' is the city's last source of freshwater and it lies hidden beneath a Catholic church in the center of the city. An evil politician wants to own this water 'for health reasons'. Odd Fact: Although it rains continually the rain water cannot be used because of Acid Rain.  

Began 'HOW TO BECOME A CULT LEADER' (Netflix). The first episode is about Charlie Manson's rise to fame. I didn't know that Charlie and some of his followers lived with Dennis Wilson at his Hollywood mansion for an entire summer. At the peak of his influence Charlie had about 100 followers in his 'family'.  Nothing was mentioned about Charlie's involvement with CIA mind control experiments. 

1005am: PC is 'Off' and will read for a bit and then hit Esporta a little early since it is so infernally hot.

1110am:  To Esporta...45" Precor.  45"Treadmill.  30"Cross.  30" Recumbent Bike.  30" Precor;  watched 'MISSING: The Lucie Blackman Case- Twenty one year old English woman works as a hostess and disappears in a Tokyo red light district. Her family forces the police to find the perpetrator; watched a 45 minute doc about how Hitler began WW2- 'NAZI STRIKE (Amazon Prime); more HULK HOGAN on THEO VON.

More 'THE ENDLESS NIGHT' (Netflix). "Besides 242 casualties, today there are more than 600 wounded".  I think this means 242 dead and in excess of six hundred were injured. I shut it down 38 minutes into episode #3. Only two more episodes and I am all in.

(All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
