Mo 7/27/23- Buddy Sick

 Mo 7/27/23

710am (2-B). 810am (1-SB). 920am (1-B). 1120am (2-B). 435pm (2-B). 725pm (2-B).

Up 545: Buddy was sick around 4am on the rug in the hallway and I cleaned it up before I fed him again at 6am. He seemed fine and I think a hairball caused him to vomit.
***When I went back to sleep at 4am I had a vivid dream about retiring. I had gone to work and the staff and building were completely different and I was convinced that today was the day I must stop working. I was scheduled to take poles somewhere and I was gearing up to walk out. High Anxiety.
Cooler temps with highs only to about 80 and a chance for stray showers this afternoon. Smoke from the Canadian fires is still in the forecast.

Watched 'SILENCE OF THE MARSH' (Netflix). It's a blend of fact and fiction as an author creates the plot for his new dramatic thriller. His character kidnaps (and brutally murders) a corrupt state official and learns of a huge money laundering operation. Hundreds of dead-end businesses are falsely on the books as successful money making concerns and the mob sends a ruthless killer to find the disgraced congressman.  Set in Valencia, Spain, on the west coast of the country on the Balearic Sea. Language: Catalan. Ibiza is an island 125 miles due East of Valencia. A surprisingly good film!

More 'PERDIDA' (Netflix). I shut it down 46 minutes into episode #9.  A story arc which includes a prison riot in a Columbian hell-hole and the sleazy kingpin's fiftieth birthday party where his daughter and her bodyguard attempt a dramatic getaway. I will finish this tonight and tomorrow morning. A cut above!

1055am: PC is 'Off' and I planned to walk outside, but I think I'll hit the treadmill because a storm front is bearing down and might hit before I return.

1125am:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched a complete 'BLACK MIRROR' (Netflix)- A British shoe clerk meets a demon and she is told to kill three people in three days or the world ends; more of Intelligent Design on J.R.E.
Weights: 3 sets/  15 reps

Reading 'THE WATER IS WIDE'

350pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of SETH MEYERS on 'Blocks'.

440pm:  In the tub with 'THE WATER IS WIDE' and listening to PAUL BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND- 'East/ West'; WIRE- 'Pink Flag'; PAUL WELLER- 'Greatest Hits'.

Began JOE LIST & his wife on 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?'

More 'PERDIDA' (Netflix).  I shut it down 6 minutes into the final episode. I will definitely finish this series tomorrow after the Netflix disc.
