Up 525am. Mostly sunny with temps to low 80's. Buddy was sick last night at about midnight. I didn't put any Friskies out until this morning. He ate breakfast and seems entirely normal.  

635am: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished MATT & SHANE'S podcast;  began MARC ANDREESSEN on J.R.E. Finished with the workout by 810am.

More of '1899' (Netflix). Finished episode #5 and it ended with 'THE WIZARD' by Black Sabbath-  a fine choice. 

1050am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for Thomas's birthday bash on Glenwood at 1130am.

1115am- 210pm: Jamie arranged to have a fire truck show up at the party. A little boy of about three and his mother stopped and got to visit with the firemen too. The kids got little fireman hats.  I stopped at Dollar General on MacArthur for candles & deodorant on the way home. But I didn't find any plastic containers for the bathroom closet.

455pm:  In the tub with 'TIME TUNNEL' and listening to MILES DAVIS- 'Kind of Blue'/ Nefertiti'; ZINGY STARDUST & THE SPIDERS FROM MARS.

More '1899' (Netflix). "May your coffee kick in, before reality does"- The only phrase in all of the books in the captain's study, endlessly repeated over and over. I shut it down 13 minutes into episode #7.  A violent storm is bearing down on the ship and the captain is nowhere to be found.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
