Up at 5am but went back to bed till 615am. Thanks, Buddy!  A mix of clouds and sun with a chance of storms later this afternoon with temps in the upper 80's. Also, a Poor Quality Air Alert due to the Canadian fires.

Did the Weekly Cleaning/ Mopping

Watched 'THE INVISIBLE GUARDIAN' (Netflix). A serial killer in Basque Country ritualistically murders teenaged girls because he believes in 'saving' the community from their wanton sexuality because he believes they manifest a clear threat to society. This film felt familiar, and I noticed that I had given it 'two thumbs up' sometime in the past. It was the first in a three part Spanish trilogy and it doesn't look like I've watched the other two. Set in Baztan, Spain which is in the northeast corner of the country on the border with France. A little over 100 miles east of Bilbao, Spain- the heart of Basque Country. 

1130am: PC is 'Off' and will do 5 miles on the treadmill.

More 'PERDIDA' (Netflix). I shut it down 35 minutes into episode #8. It is getting dangerous in the safe house and the pot smoking witness and his guardians have put on their bulletproof vests.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
