Up 6am: Bright & sunny with temps only to about 80.

Wrote a check to pay taxes later this afternoon.

Watched 'OPERATION HYACINTH' (Netflix). {'Hyacinth' is Polish police slang for 'gay'} Polish secret police maintained 'pink files' on suspected homosexuals from 1985-1987 and used the information for extortion & blackmail; 4 wins & 2 nominations. A decent Police/ Thriller and reminiscent of William Friendkin's early 80's film, 'CRUISING'. 

More 'ALBA' (Netflix). I shut it down 23 minutes into episode #10. 

1145am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then walk to the county building and pay the taxes.

Reading 'REDEEMING LOVE'

510pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  more of  the Indian guy running for president on CLUB RANDOM. 

605pm: In the tub with 'REDEEMING LOVE' and listening to BAND OF GYPSYS shuffled; MOUNTAIN- 'Nantucket Sleighride'; WHO-'My Generation' Deluxe.

Began CHEVY CHASE on CLUB RANDOM

More 'ALBA' (Netflix). The trial was set in Alicante, Spain. I shut it down 38 minutes into episode #11. Bruno gets fifteen years, like the other three defendants, but he gets an additional 10 years because he was 'involved' with the victim.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
