*** Buddy got sick on the living room chair while I was downstairs last night. Around 4am he threw up again on the hallway carpet near the bedroom door.
Today it's much cooler with a mix of sun & clouds with temps only to the mid 70's.
Watched 'PERDIDA' (Netflix). {The title means 'loss' in Spanish}. I had seen this one before and well worth a second viewing. It was a complex drama of a cold case about a teenage girl who disappeared while on a school trip to Patagonia fourteen years previously. Her best friend who was with her when she went missing is now a police detective and is determined to find out what happened to her best friend. Filmed in Buenos Aires and Patagonia, Argentina.
***930am: Two bright orange storage units ('U Box'- by Uhaul) arrive on a flatbed for the house across the street. A removable forklift on the end of the truck and she had a little trouble disconnecting the forklift from the deck. I wonder why this trashy move is necessary?
Watched the first episode of 'Guillermo del Toro's CABINET OF CURIOSITIES' (Netflix). An elderly Nazi dies and a racist hustler buys his storage locker. Inside locker #36 is a 'seance table', four volumes of demonology, and a 'sleeping' demon; with Tim Blake Nelson. I was expecting a little more, but I will definitely watch more.
1130am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to walk on the treadmill and watch the latest 'TUESDAYS WITH STORIES.
1150am: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; a complete 'TUESDAYS WITH STORIES'; more ZACH BRYAN on J.R.E.
Weights: 3 sets/ 12 reps (B.bells/ D.bells).
Reading 'THE KILLER ANGELS'.
445pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished GREG GUTFELD on CLUB RANDOM.
545am: In the tub with 'THE KILLER ANGELS' and listening to RUSH; STYX- 'The Grand Illusion'.
Began 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK' with the guys from 'Are You Garbage?'
More 'WOMEN AT WAR' (Netflix). The local prostitutes with syphilis can't work at the bordello so they drive ambulances and save French soldiers' lives. Novel idea and weirdly compelling. Kind of a slow start for the series, but it's really cooking now. I shut it down 39 minutes into episode #5.
