Up 610am: Partly sunny and very hot & humid with temps to mid to upper 90's. The 'excessive heat warning' has been extended through Friday.

725am:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished ARI SHAFFIR with JOE LIST: a complete TUESDAYS WITH STORIES; began a RICK GLASSMAN.

Weights: 2 sets 12 reps/ Barbells, I'll do three more sets this afternoon.

1115am-430pm- downstairs chat where we certainly went into extra innings. When she said they were coming she made it sound like they were just stopping by to workout at FitClub North. They brought a bag of tomatoes from one of their neighbor's gardens.

More 'THE MESS YOU LEAVE BEHIND' (Netflix).  I shut it down 17 minutes into episode #5.  Some of it was set and filmed in A Coruna, Spain, a port city on a promontory in the Galicia region of northwestern Spain. Also filmed in Celanova and Ourense, Spain. A wild melodrama but I don't think the 'teacher/ student' sexual relationship would go over with American audiences or Netflix censors. It didn't bother me and I'm sure this kind of  stuff is fairly common in the US. 

KERI DAY- This woman was a student of Janny's that has gone on to graduate from Princeton and has been a figure in the 'Black Power Movement'. Janny says she is preaching 'Blacks are superior to Whites'. I don't believe this and will check out the internet on this woman.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
