Watched 'FILIP' (Netflix). WOW!!! I can't believe there was only one review of this film on IMDB. This was the most powerful piece of cinema I've seen in quite a while. In 1943 a young Polish Jew from the Warsaw ghetto acquired papers identifying himself as a foreign worker from France. He becomes a respected waiter in a ritzy hotel in Nazi held Frankfort. Although desperate to survive, he's notorious for having sex with all the pretty women, even German women and this particular peccadillo carries a death sentence. A most unusual character study and I loved this film! Directed by Michal Kwiecinski and stars Eryk Kulm. Filmed in Poland. 3 wins and 1 nomination.
More 'THE MACHINE' (Netflix). If I was not somewhat of a fan of his podcast and his proximity to Rogan, I would have never watched this one; with Bert Kreischer & Mark Hamill from 'STAR WARS' as Bert's dad. The film is not very funny with only a few decent bits and probably deserves the rating: "37" Metascore.

Reading and finished 'THE COLOR OF LIGHT' by WILLIAM GOLDMAN and began 'THE STORY OF ARTHUR TRULUV' by ELIZABETH BERG.

More 'THE INNOCENT' (Netflix). I shut it down 16 minutes into episode #6. Too many moving parts...
