***850am: I had to restart to do a Windows Update and it took five minutes. No discernable difference after the install...as usual. 

Watched 'THE CONFERENCE' (Netflix). A small Swedish investment company has a team work seminar at a remote 'holiday camp'. The team is decimated by the son of the man that committed suicide because they took his farm to build a shopping center. The film is a satire about the clash of ideas over the question of who benefits through 'improvement'.  Silly, thought provoking & hilarious.

Watched 'HIDE AWAY' (Amazon Prime). A depressed man buys a sailboat in a remote coastal town on the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. He's in a self destructive downward spiral trying to deal with the loss of his wife and kids. He fixes up the boat and gets back the control of his life. "The two best days in a boat owner's life are the day they buy a boat and the day they sell it". Not corny as it sounds, but close. Filmed near Traverse City, Michigan.

***Earlier this morning I noticed vomit on the kitchen table. It was bone dry so I knew it was from last night. At noon I cleaned fresh vomit downstairs from earlier this morning.  He seems more subdued today, yet his appetite is still ravenous.

12pm: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do Five Miles on the treadmill. I'll keep it between 3.7 and 3.9 even though the foot is no longer a problem, but I want to make sure that I don't aggravate it.{No problems with the foot} 

1230pm:  FIVE MILES AT 3.7- 3.9 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched 'BAND OF BROTHERS' (Netflix)- The unit liberated a concentration camp. The Allies had German townspeople bury the corpses; began JOEY DIAZ & LEE SYATT.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
