Up 710am: Overslept! Hot & sunny with temps almost to 90.

***At around 4am I fed Buddy and around 5am I heard him throwing up in the hallway. He seemed fine and his usual upbeat self. At 8am (after I fed him) I gave him another dab of Prednisolone because I thought last night's dose might not have been enough.

Watched 'THE DARKNESS WITHIN LA LUZ DEL MUNDO' (Netflix). In 1926 a Mexican pastor declared that he was the literal apostle of Christ. Over the years his son and grandson assumed the anointed role and all three 'apostles' had a secret.  Behind the scenes they fleeced the congregation of millions and groomed young girls and women to be their sexual slaves. This church was active for almost one hundred years in over fifty countries and boasted over 5 million followers. In 2019 a Los Angeles court nabbed the grandson and he got a sentence of sixteen years and because this is considered a plea deal he didn't admit to any of the charges.  His hardcore followers revere him even in prison...'La Luz Del Mundo' means 'The Light of The World'.

1130am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to visit Planet Fitness after the weights. I really should cut down that tree along the fence so that I can put it on the street with the pile of branches already there.  

***Cut back the tree along the fenceline in the back (ex-abandoned house/the old lady). New dog next door is kind of a Pitbull variety/mutt, but didn't seem violent, just giving me 'the hard eyes'.  

Weights:  3 sets/ 15 reps. Dumbbells.

1145pm: To Planet Fitness...45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross; (I noticed a series that I didn't remember but looked worthy) began episode # 4 of 'RECRUIT (Netflix)- Comedy take on a lawyer working at the CIA & only somewhat interesting. 

420pm-505pm: Mowed Lawn and possibly last time this season. 

6pm: In the tub with 'THE COLOR OF LIGHT' and listening to KING CRIMSON Playlist; BLACK CROWES- 'Shake Your Money Maker' Playlist. 

***I got a message that I had to 'Restart for Updates'. Why?

More of 'FUGITIVA' (Netflix). Shut it down 20 minutes into episode #3. Mom got swindled for three and a half million American dollars and got a nice haircut. This is bad cinema but it goes down easily.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
