Wrote up 'RICH MAN POOR MAN' by Irwin Shaw and 'LOST LIGHT' for Michael Connelly for the blog.

Watched 'OLD DADS' (Netflix). A silly, ridiculous, but very funny tale of three middle-aged married men from California whose lives are uprooted by 'The Woke Mob'. The film pushes a very Conservative / Culture War Theme: {'The Government' 'The Corporate Elite' 'The Dems' 'The Jews' 'The Feminists'} are forcing people to be tolerant of anyone with differing ideas and that this is something that should be avoided at all costs. We must strive for an era where hate and rudeness are once again an essential part of our American heritage. Directed and stars Bill Burr with a cast top-heavy with comedic actors; Bill Burr, Bobby Cannavale, Bokeem Woodbine, Natasha Leggero, Rick Glassman, and Bruce Dern... A woman cuts a very long and loud fart and says, "well, that made some room"...(Cold reptilian mindset)"..."You are so cold that when you open your legs I can actually hear the East German National anthem."

Restarted a crime series that dealt with the assassination of Donaldo Colosio that I began but never completed.

'CRIME SERIES: The Candidate' (Netflix). I shut it down 19 minutes into episode #5. This is a fictional recreation of the actual events and it's really an excellent 'refresher' after the short Netflix series about the assassination. I will definitely finish this eight part series. 

1130am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then head to Planet Fitness for the afternoon. When I leave, I'll stop at Schnucks for beer/ ginger ale/ tall kitchen bags. 

Weights: 3 sets/ 16 reps. Dumbbells. 

1215pm: To Planet Fitness... 45"Cross.  45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross; began 'GET GOTTI' (Netflix)- Gotti's got a Trump sized ego. Murders Paul Castellano and becomes a pop icon; more of BRIAN REDBAN on J.R.E;  watched a 'COLD CASE FILES' (Netflix)- In 1982 a female student at SIU Carbondale, IL is raped & murdered in her apartment; more of 'CRIME SERIES:  The Candidate' (Netflix).

I decided to do the shopping tomorrow after the DMV.

More 'CRIME DIARIES: The Candidate' (Netflix). I shut it down 16 minutes into episode #7. I'd like to read more about this whole 'assassination incident' and what it represents to contemporary Mexican history.

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
